NANOSURF

By ONE HIT KILL on February 25, 2024 4:38 am

Nanoloop2, guitar; surf rock and beats. 174bpm
Was a bit short of ideas/time this week; this tried and true recipe always cooks something.

Love the vibe. This is a really nice crossover of genres.

I guess what I meant was the pipeline bass(as mentioned by sorkfot), double snare-single snare pattern, generic e minor pentatonic guitar with surf tone - apply that to anything and you end up cooking. that plus generic 174 bpm nano dnb stuff. My point is; short on time/creativity that week so I just threw some leftovers into some rice and fried the shit out of it, lol

When I read "nanoloop" I definitely didn't expect the Tarantino surf guitar to greet me first. Those two things have no business working together... and yet they somehow do! The wub wub at 1:30 is especially pretty comical, so different in style from the twangy guitars. I'm amazed at the combination big_smile
