Walking through dusk

By OleJazzer on February 1, 2026 10:28 pm

This is a piece I wrote this week. It took a lot of different changes and additions and subtractions and I just now finished it. It also helped me to learn how to do different things using my DAW so it's been a plus on many different levels. But it did feel like I was walking at dusk. All the effects I used were part of different software batches that I have on my computer, which is unusual normally, I use regular effects that I have and can carry anywhere but this time instead I used all software just to see what it would be like.

The guitar is a fender, Stratocaster plus. Everything else I did with the software from East west, reaper and ARTURIA.

love the guitar processing in this, it's a janky and fun little funk tune!

Thank you I always loved playing funk so it must be coming out without me actually being aware that I was doing it until you said that I wasn't thinking about it but now I can hear it popping out
