Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

I was playing around with my 5-string Fender Jazz bass and some quartal harmonies and came up with this piece. The effects unit is a Digitech BP200. I'm using a fretless bass effect with some echo and phaser into a tascam 4x4 and into my computer.

Yep it was my third version of it during the week so I numbered them. That music composition stuff gets ingrained right fast. The recording wasn’t as clear as I wanted because the small stone phase shifter I bought in 1975 gave up the ghost. No telling why it has worked thousands of times before. It seems difficult to hear the harmonics but next time it would be better.
