Kathy's Tune

This is a short piano piece for my sister. Back in 1968 I was a freshman at North Texas State University majoring in music composition. I didn't realize how privileged we were to have a faculty member teaching us nor did I understand how difficult the class was supposed to be. The instrumentation for our music was limited to whatever instruments the class played because we were expected to compose and play one minute of music each class in the style of the assigned composer. I wrote one piece as assigned in the style of Czerny. My sister loved it. This is nothing like that but I was trying to write something fun for her to play.
I'm not a piano player arthritis etc. Plus, when I render my long tones get cut off too soon which is why I did not submit anything last week. whole notes became quarter notes.
Also, I was thinking about a animation to go along with the piece where in the beginning two big eyes with small fingers are playing the piece and two other big eyes are watching it and then when the two big eyes look away, the struggling ones aren’t struggling anymore and they’re having fun and then towards the end of they look back, and the ones sitting at the Piano get serious again.
