This song came to me. I did not happen to me, but I had been thinking about for a day or so all these blue songs where the guy just wants his baby back and I thought you know in my experience in relationships and such I never really wanted my baby back. You know I like to see her on the street or whatever and say hello but I never really wanted to go through all that again. There was a reason why we weren't together and if I thought about it long enough, you know, I was happy she had either cut ties and took off or I had actually it was always some woman that cut ties with me . But these guys in the blues songs are always wailing about wanting your baby back because they messed up and all of us messed up but if you mess up bad enough the woman leaves I don't know man I'm not sure I'd want her to come back.
