Crossroars

By OleJazzer on April 19, 2026 12:27 am

The name of this one is crossroars it's about someone who's trying to find the crossroads so they can learn to play the blues and they can't and then behind it. I improvised playing the blues and I did that before. I did the song part the lyrics for some reason after I did the lyrics and put the two together, the two tracks were on the same fit. The Guitar part decided to become a mono Guitar part when I registered it, but I'm not gonna change it because it's sort of an interesting effect. It's way in the background, but it still there and it's distorted as it's supposed to be, but I did the Guitar part just as a simple improv of the blues and the lyrics I wrote down ahead of time I thought about trying to clean it up and stuff, but that's gotten me in trouble in the last couple of weeks. I wasn't able to put anything in because I messed up my tune by trying to clean it up or trying to get it to do better or whatever and I've had this problem before of something been stereo than suddenly it's mono and I forgot what I did to fix it. I'll figure it out but it might not be by deadline so I've got it now. I'm sending it in now.

I like that it's not cleaned up! The guitar is almost in another county - it sounds like it's playing on an old tube radio. And I love the (kinda too real, actually) lyrics and vocal processing.

Thanks I hadn't really thought of it like that, however, it does sound like that
