synth live jam with coffee 1-13-24

polyend play, hydrasynth, grandmother with an nts-1 delay - recorded into reaper - little bit of post eq and compression.

Would like to start incorporating my drum machines here soon.

I just started doing live jams like these a few weeks ago, going to use this platform track progression throughout the year.

This sounds pretty dope! It's a relaxed performance, I like that the sounds are quite hard to put a finger on so your mind just drifts.

My dream is to be able to work drum machines live alongside synths or piano or whatever I'm doing, so I can do these live crazy jams but still make something fairly danceable (since I don't have a drummer easily accessible). Sounds like you're on a similar trajectory but with even more cool synths.

I like the evolving performance. The coolest thing about synths to me is how a sound can morph into something completely different by changing some parameters. I felt this is what's going on here, but it could also be that you have a lot of synths, as the same sounds come back into play big_smile

Looking forward to hear more!

Thanks for the listen and wonderful comment!

Just playing around with my synths is my freedom from all responsibilities of everyday life. In a way its what I try to express through the music.

I love this, it's got a really organic feel somehow, despite being all synths. The optimism in it reminds me of my favorite tracks by the Books
