Lobster Phone

By Nyarlos on May 10, 2020 3:38 am

We all get to phone one in, no inspiration this week, so just decided to improv a noise track. One single take, one track, no post effects apart from a stereo reverb. Signal chain was my old Ibanez RG420, to Mesa Triaxis, then all in the FX loop was Gate, Vintage Chorus, MXR Flanger, MXR Carbon Copy Delay, EQD Delay Clone, then my Pedal PCB 3 Verb set to obnoxious shimmer.

This is a single track? Even the ominous lower layers from 01:36 on? Drone metal! When inspiration does not strike, plug everything in and let feedback do the job. smile I love the attitude.

In accordance to the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, I’ve sampled this track for my track Incompressible Flow, which is forthcoming this week on Weekly Beats (of course also under CC BY-NC 4.0), and this is my attribution. I predict that the link to my track is going to be: https://weeklybeats.com/trumbuthegn/music/incompressible-flow, and if that don’t turn out to be the case, I’ll add the correct link as a comment to this comment.

Thank you! smile
