If you can't get a decent tone from a JCM800 and a tube screamer there's something wrong with you, so guess what? Lol
Just can't gel with the most famous combo of high gain in history, a Marshall and a TS, but love listening to other people with the exact same setup. Always been a point of contention.

Got a new $70 dollar guitar last week, so gave her a thrashing too, the cutting board Strat we shall call her.

Also wanted to do some more messed up timing to get my drum writing up a notch or two. Its easy for me to do stupid stuff on guitar, but working out the counts etc for a drummer has always been an issue.
Had fun doing diminished leads as well, always found diminished rhythms easy, but the leads over the top of it harder.

Pedals for today:
Ibanez TS808DX: The best of the tubescreamers, fuck vintage shit, this is a well built, boost overdrive combo that kicks amps the way you want them to.
Blackstar Boost LT: A plain clean boost with basic EQ, plenty of push, nothing to complain about for a cheapie.
