I very rarely remember my dreams but last Sunday I dreamt I was in a 70s funk band, including the 3 sequin dressed backing singers and everything. I woke up, literally opened my eyes and the chorus ran through my head as the very first waking moment. So had to do something with this ridiculous inspiration.
My big problem is I can't sing for shit, so Melodyne got such a thrashing its hard to believe. Lots of pitch shifting and I just got a harmoniser plug in with an update of my waves plugins, so had to spend a fair amount of time tuning and messing around with many part vocal harmonies.
Somehow actually managed to make the line in the break actually sound fairly sassy I would say. Its pretty hard to make a very large man sound like a lady, but that bit did work!
Pedals for today: ALL WAH!!!
Standard Crybaby: The very first pedal I ever bought, so a 28 year old beaten up pedal that is getting a bit scratchy, but contact cleaner in the pot at least got a performance out of it.
535Q Crybaby: The daddy version of the crybaby, with switches and boosts and variable settings etc, king wah.

I dig that effect on the vocals, i bet i'd love your voice without it, too: the basic tone carries both coolness and brazen fire to it
