Elevator Jam

I set a challenge for the crew in the shop the week, so from the Southern Music team (plus Haleja hopefully!!!) I present "Southern Muzak"

Its awful lol

I have been busy learning Jazz chords recently, but knowing a few jazz chords does not a jazz song make, but I think it turned out ok if you look it at is it should be, this is Muzak all the way. Its even harder because I really have no idea on Jazz drums, so found some loops and adapted them, best I can do there.

Also had a secondary reason for this week, mostly because I'm not really a fan of chorus pedals in my everyday playing.  So what better use of a stack of chorus pedals but a jazz style guitar tone?

Pedals for today:
1. Danelectro Wasabi: Had trouble finding a really unsubtle chorus until I remembered this Hot Rod inspired mofo.
2. MXR Zakk Wylde Chorus: Just the normal MXR Analog chorus which is actually quite a pleasant pedal for cleans.
3. Modded original CE-2 Circuit: A very interesting mod from one of the earliest choruses ever.
4. MXR Reverb: One kick ass verb box
5. (not in pic) Ibanez JD9 Jet Driver: Hotter than a TS9, but when you roll off the guitars tone it becomes more fuzzy than drive-y. Interesting at least.

I love me some chorus but am not a fan of jazz.  Appreciate what you try to do since it's  clearly written by someone with the same level of jazz as me.

I don't know much jazz (besides jazz hands), or if this is jazz, but it sounds good either way smile The saturating level of chorus is very fitting for the level of cheese we're aiming for in this muzak challenge tongue

Too much tone to be a real jazz tone... lol

Still very fun listen. 2m23 that overdriven tone is pretty neat.

Sweet jam bro, quite inspiring for my own southern muzak - which I will do at some stage!

Thanks dude, I am EXACTLY minus one Jazz, but was interesting to try something very different.
