Changing Everything

A bit surprised this got even close to finished, I changed picks after 30 years, using a Dunlop Big Stubby 3mm and suddenly could just up the tempo a considerable amount, a bit weird for a guy who literally sells guitar picks to suddenly find a new one that actually changed things! Also got a new sub of Amy monitors and so was also mixing under a different environment, and for some reason I decided to double track some actually stupid lead lines. Not my cleanest tracking, but a hell of a challenge at this speed for me. Amazed this came together at all.
Used my EVH 5150 Stealth, which I don't really like, but keep trying to get a decent sound from, ended up ok.

Oh interesting! I nevery change picks (i always use one of these small jazz II hard picks). THIS IS FAST AND AGGRESSIVE. A human drummer would probably lose both knees while recording this. smile
I love the super aggressive sound!
Those solos from 3:00! I get a marduk vibe.

Rrrippin'! Great track. Kick is a little loud but thats prob just getting used to new monitors
