Week 2 of teenage favourite tunes.

Got my absolute favourite amp back from repair, so I was in the mood for some Rectification. I love my Dual Recto, they are just the nastiest, most epicfull tone. And I was inspired to do some cannibal corpse and deicide mid 90's death metal. So here it is. 90's DM is typified by the bomb blast and certainly has to have a groovy main riff, at the same time as being offensively brutal with a nasty edge to the leads, so all tremolo bar action here.

A super interesting thing from a. recording standpoint is how you treat a Mesa in the mix, they actually have too much of everything, which is really odd, how can a tone have too much lows, too much mids and too much treble simultaneously? Mesa somehow manages it. So lots of cuts and carving to get the nasty that lives inside, I honestly think its just because they are too brutal for microphones to comprehend. Hence why I love them so much lol.
