Appropriately Painful

By Nyarlos on November 27, 2022 9:05 pm

Just wanted to do something aggressive and thought some atonal goodness would see me through. There's some pretty bad ideas here, wanting my guitar to sound like an alarm, 9 counts, and even chucked in a "minor 2nd Harmony" I put that in quotes because it really just meant playing a riff 1 fret away from the other guitar. I tried putting the bass a fret away again, but that was too much for even for me. For the solo I just improv'd two lines, then cut them up alternating between the two.
Used my 5150 Stealth and my dual rec for amps, not totally in love with the stealth, but got a decent aggressive tone this week.

That's an experience haha. A harmony 1 fret away is way more musical than I expected it to be.
My only critique is that it ends with a fade out, and not someone smashing the alarm clock in a fit of rage. lol
