So Long, and Thanks For All the Fish

By NWSPR on December 25, 2022 11:08 pm

A Douglas Adams reference that has nothing to do with this song but somehow seems appropriate.  It's been a pleasure to hear how everyones music progressed over the course of the year. I haven't always been a good listener but I learned a lot from the musicians I was able to follow, and incorporated it in ways that may not have always been clear but enriched my work. So, I am in awe, in your debt, and thank you for listening to my stuff.

Hope everyone has had a great holiday and has a Happy New Year!

I barely made it through this year and missed about 3 or four weeks.  Not sure if I'll be back in 2024. So just in case I don't make it back, thanks for listening! Keep on Trucking. Hang in there kittens. You make the rockin world go round.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Warmest Regards,
Mike

Happy holidays! I'll certainly be missing your music in 2023, and even more in 2024 if you don't come back. I always love jumping into your tracks, they have your NWSPR signature of rock/punk/vintage electronic that is just perfect. And of course let's not forget the harmonica and the great singing! Great way to end the year (though, well, there is still one week of weekly beats in 2022 smile)

ayyyy let's go

Sorry. I was clealing the keyboard pad and the display while listening. this comment happened to come out.
Of course I wanted to say more. I like this punk style - say goodby track. very moving lyrics and beautiful bells in the arrangement. epic music again and again. thank you for all the nice tracks in 2022. you are my master chief for solid 80ies influenced alternative epic productions.

Happy holidays, hope you'll be back for the final week at least
Thank you for all the good times, and hopefully we'll see you again in 2024, we love your music

Ya! Love that resounding presence in your voice! Such a great sendoff! heart

Hopefully you'll have a restful 2023 and feel recharged for a 2024 return.  You always manage to have great energy in your tracks and this is no exception.  Quite a catchy melody also.  Maybe I'll catch you at the restaurant at the end of the universe?

Bells and harmonica really make this one with the catchy lyrics of course, great production.

A fun, pop rocking joyous ode to 2022. Nailed it. Love the title, one of my fave books of all time! I'm bopping. Love the backing "ooos", kick ass. I love what you write about getting inspiration from WB people, sometimes in subtle ways we don't always show. Couldn't agree more! Happy new year!! Cheers to 2023!

Love the punky credits roll feels throughout.  The guitar/harmonica combo \m/  Have an excellent 2023!  *hands in the air freeze frame jump*

Thanks for listening... I've enjoyed your high energy action packed, cinematic tracks all year.  Reason enough to return is 2024.  See you in a year!

I don't know what that means but I take it as my best comment of the year! It's like I'm exponentially greater than 1 I think.

Yeah, I think I jumped the gun on closing out the year.  I mean this next week ends in 2023.  Is that legal?

Great series of books.  I must re-read.  It's been decades.
