Machine Hand

By NWSPR on May 6, 2012 11:54 pm

Live analog synth jam direct to 2-track.  No editing (other than fade in and fade out).  5 machines run through a vintage Lexicon delay for chorus effect.  Total development time 20 minutes... so a great time saver!

NWSPR (the full band format) plays live this Thursday in Manhattan at a private performance art event for Contamination Collective.  Looking forward to it!

Oops!  Image:

this is awesome!  the bg drone reminds me a bit of a tambora drone from indian classical.  also, the synths kinda sound like tablas every once in a while when the filter passes just right.

grooving on these tones, maaaan
experimental-sounding, chippy, mellow, and dark.
liked the soft drums with low-end boost
goostuff!
