Killing Time USA

By NWSPR on August 12, 2012 11:10 pm

This track made using layers of Bliptronic tone loops, Casio VL-Tone and my Radio Shack Concertmate synthesizer (pictured below). It's an odd mix of electronics and that gives it a bit of a quirky feel to it.  Otherwise, just killing time with lofi sounds/

Spending most of my time this week getting prepared to play keyboards for another band this Thursday at Fontana's (NYC).  Not my band but learning a set in 6 days and feeling pretty worn out.  Dozing off as I type...

I love the title, fits well with the song, its sounds like  a "lobby" section of a game or something, just chillin, killing time, in the USA possibly. The synths sounds are awesome too, so organic (yeah, organic) and lo-fi.

Oh and i am totally using "Seagull Anarchy" for my next song title since it will be very fitting for an upcoming juxtapose of genres i have in mind  big_smile i will give you credit for it tho. oh and Im glad i got a trademark sound lol.

This is really great, love the sounds. Good luck with learning your set, depping is hard work!

so beautiful sounds!! great work!!! smile

Excellent use of cheesy hardware  smile  I reckon I still have a Casio VL-Tone from my youth still floating around somewhere.

Very cool! Like the gear you used to make it too! big_smile

sounds funny for me))
