Jetpack

Jetpack is a song I just completed to release on a limited edition vinyl 7" of the same name. It will be released as part of the "Where's My Jetpack?" art opening and group show during social media week in NYC on Feb. 17th.
I utilized all vintage analog synthesizers and tried to capture a B-Movie soundtrack feel like a combination of a John Carpenter score and the cheeziness of Queen's Flash Gordon music (not to knock Queen at all because they are the best part of that movie). Lots of cool reaction jet nozzle sounds as I imagine them to be.

And on a final note, when I went to drop off the files at Brooklyn Phono on Friday, they had a hovercraft in the pressing plant. That's got to be a good sign!
