Head For The Hills - Run For The Sky (vocal mix)

By NWSPR on September 6, 2020 11:58 pm

Happy labor day weekend!  I'm off finishing the film festival to start September 14th.  We had some excellent last minute events sign on and we're producing a series called The Sixth Borough which will be like a Black Mirror like series during the festival, but featuring independent scifi short films. Nervous and excited and tired.  Check it out if you have time the week of the 14th: https://brooklynscififilmfest.com/

Won't have much time for music until after the festival so I am posting last week's track with vocals added making it more of the finished vision of what I was looking for.  The vocals make it less repetitive and I thinned out some synths to let them shine a bit more.

Be well! Be SciFi!

That track is a delight with a wide range of sound textures. I especially like the arp from 1:11, it has edge and character. Very cool synthwave and the vocals bring indeed another dimension to this track.

I liked the song last week, and vocals doesn't ruins it... wink .

Seriously, good job with the song, I really like those synths and the vocals works good on it.

This so cool. You catched 100% the spirit of the good old "new wave". Good luck for your festival. I wish I could go there. But I will check out your link.

Cool to hear the new version of this.  The vocals sound really good with this.

Definitely adds a good layer to it.

Run to the hills. Run for your lives. The title reminds me of Iron Maiden's song.

This track has a lot of movement and is joined together with smooth transitions. The vocals do help with keeping the track from getting stale.
