Just comes out the gate with great energy.  I can definitely hear the vocals that want to be all over this.  Seems like a good candidate to re-visit for sure.  Also, just how simple are we talking about with these acoustic guitar strums you speak of?  I could probably do it if nobody else offers, but I bet there are a lot better strummers out there than me.
