Five Forty Five

By NWSPR on August 2, 2020 9:55 pm

This week I wanted to play around with a pop / RnB synth and bass sound then started experimenting a bit resulting in a track that is split.  First half is all electronic with the second half switching completely to guitars and no synths.  Sounds kind of cool and blended pretty well. Nothing too fancy but had fun messing around and trying to change my technique.

Hope you are well, safe and enjoying the summer!

I am all right... two very cool parts. I really like the synth part then Electric Bass guitar is great with the filter on it.

Smooth synth lines and the bass that enters from 0:50 is funky! The nice liquid wah guitar behind is tasty! It does blend very naturally. I like the layers created with the guitar with a delay effect. That was nice! When it finished, I still wanted some more!

Neat transition between the two instrumentation styles! This is a fun track.

The transition did work really well.  I didn't even notice it was happening.  Just kind of all of a sudden realized I was listening to guitar instead of synth.  Nice job!

Transition works so much better than I thought. I didn't notice it all on the first listen. Love how fun this track sounds, too.

Transitions can be tough. You did well.

I agree that the transition went well. Having the instruments fade out created a blend that allowed the bass to take over smoothly. Great track.

Awesome man, I love both halves.  The groove in the synth part is cool as hell, very disco.  The lead in on the bassline is badass too.  Big fan of that. Definitely kept the disco theme going with the wah in the 2nd half too.

The second part makes the whole thing feel like an action spy thriller song. Like part 1 was the command center all along, and part 2 is where the action happens.

The first half had me picturing a 90s racing game that then turns into an A-Team heist in the second half smile  The guitar sounds excellent.  Well done!

Part one and two are kind of late 80ies-like in my ears. Could be the soundtrack of a Magnum film. very well executed.

Awesome transition, and the congas are really making the rhythm pop out to me - this is a really great idea and you did an A+ job it just needs to be TWICE AS LONG smile
