Everything

"Everything" is a break up song but with a country, not a person. And sorry, this is another track featuring mostly Moog Liberation through overdrive. I promise this is the last one for a while. Just enjoying this keyboard too much.  The overdriven Moog lines at the beginning sound like cellos too me. Happy accident.  The other non-Liberation keyboards are a piano and string pad from virtual synths and the sequenced bass. No guitars or any other analogs.  Just the Liberation. Hope you find something to like about it... kind of an acquired taste.

Hope everyone is enjoying their various vacations.  Be safe!

The Liberation moog (apt choice for these tracks) really has a great sound, and it does indeed sound a bit like a guitar. Beautiful melodies in this track, with this sense of sadness. The voice harmonization is really nice. Epic dark punk pop with a 80s vibe. Are the the drums live? The kicks are really sick with the triplets. Cool track!

Wow, I'm a Moog fan myself, owning four of their instruments (all are the 60HP semi-modulars). I've never heard of the Liberation and I gotta say this is a very intriguing demo, if you didn't tell me it was a keytar, I'd just assume it was an electric guitar.

Kudos for singing and a full production. This takes a lot of time. I get Berlin-era Bowie vibes from this.

One piece of feedback I have is that in a couple of spots the signal clips. Whatever DAW you're using, it should have a Multicompressor + Limiter effect combo that you can put on Master to avoid this. I know first-hand it's built into Logic, it's built into Ableton Live, I'm sure many more have this, too. And if yours doesn't then I might suggest getting the Waves L316 Multimaximizer which produces very clean loud bounces. It's high latency but the plugin includes a simplified L3-LL maximizer that sounds good enough for most renders when you're not actually mastering an album.

I wonder how you can deliver a whole high quality full soung ever week. this one is a classic as well.

Wait, can we break up with the country???  That's tempting.  Still cranking some awesome sounds out of that Liberation, much of which is very guitar-like for sure.

I personally love the sound of distortion and overdrive being used on synths. It definitely kind of creates a grimy, dark string sound sometimes. I love how this song progresses and gets more and more powerful!

the harmony of the bass and main line really caught my ear. this isn't the kind of thing I usually listen to but yes, there is a lot I like in here.

Nothing wrong with the Liberation, it sounds real good, and probably accurate for the theme

This is ace! Overdrive, thick string, sounds, tempo change, yep yep yep. I'm also getting Bowie vibes *sunglasses-emoji*

I really like the new wave sound and that fast beat is awesome. (I'll 100% listen to synths-thru-overdrive any day!)

Your voice is amazing on this, defiant but also down-to-earth, and the entire track drives forth with a beautiful sense of determination(would love to see this performed live). Props to you for bringing the fiercest of fire on this! heart

Awesome vocal harmonies when everything comes in together.  I can def see how that synth has been inspiring you this year.  I like the feeling of the song as it changes the drums up midway and keeps that main progression going. Some really awesome guitar-like sounds coming out of that sweet synth. Ps. "Just The Liberation" sounds like a cool band name or album smile
