Black Ice

This rough mix from my band / electronic duo Damage. Music by drummer/keyboardist Joseph Livingston.  I'm supplying additional synths, vocals and lyrics.  We share production and arrangement duties but in all honesty, this track is 80% Joe.  It is a strange noisy track with underlying interview about GG Allin & the Murder Junkies performance at Club Space Fish in the early 90s.  Rather obscure. But the final versions will be a short narrative cut and a remix long version.  This has scraps of both.  My ears are seriously ringing after two days in a concrete basement working on tracks. AKG cans up way too high.  Bass amps with keyboards and distortion very loud for the harder tracks. Now my back hurts. Stomach hurts. Ears ache.  Throat is sore. In the words of Detective Roger Murtaugh. "I'm getting to old for this..."

So hope you enjoy this weirdo track!

my dude the bass synth cuts through so nicely

your drummer is doing GREAT on that ride cymbal (i might actually want this louder)

thank you for suffering to make this great piece

I feel the blood sweat and tears vibes in the synth thickness of this track.  The drums and pace of the track are awesome.  That break down midway with the delayed synth sounds great too.  Hope you can get some rest and feel rejuvenated soon.

Such a powerful stumper. Lots of energy in this thing. The best dancetracks since 20 years. It was worth it 100%

Nice mix of weirdness and high danceability.  The spoken word bits in the background are a nice touch.

That beat is simple but infectious! This is a club on an alien world, like the soundtrack of a disco night in the universe of the 5th element movie. Loving it. The layering of vocals and voices is really good, adding to the strange atmosphere of the track.
