Passion Poussière

By Nueli on January 17, 2026 10:02 am

This one came together really quick. I was working on another song all week, decided to relax on Saturday evening with a side project and the song itself immediately told me where it wanted to go

The mix is rough (read: nonexistent). I have to figure out what I can do purely with the M8 (that is my constraint for the year) and there are still so many things to figure out with this tool

Anyway I have to quickly grab my hormones and go to a friend's birthday in a old quarry. Love you all, let's fight and achieve peace in our lifetime

I'm sitting in the Midwestern dark, with wind chills that no person should have to experience outside, and this is a lovely contrast. So bright and energetic. Summer soon? Maybe?

I did not think of this song as bright, but now I can see how it can be. Summer will we be here soon enough, it always come back

The song tells a story, not sure what story (derwishes, overtones, rings, …?), but sure enough I loved it twice.

This would make a good Cyberpunk-ish movie/game soundtrack.

The ping pong is super hypnotic inside my noise cancelling headphones.
