Escapade Infernale

By Nueli on March 8, 2026 5:51 pm

Hard hard hard to make music these days. My brain is in ttrpg mode and I have to fight it to get some music done.

- Another simple song, intro-riff-outro.
- The finger snap was sampled by yours truly.
- Some panning experiment, with the leads split in two similar instruments and set left and right. I hardly play with this parameter, but I should do it more often!
- I think the lead melody is a but repetitive, but that will do.
- The ending uses the drum sample in reverse, which I found by accident to work quite well for this task.

Anyway let's give my brain what it wants, here are two medfan ttrpg campaign ideas:
1. The Shrike, a lost fragment of hell, an island of metal and stone with a god impaled at its peak, punished for eternity. But for this campaign you will only play with player who have a character that died at some point. The goal is to escape.
2. Stonehell Dungeon, 10 levels of megadungeon goodness, a landmark. But for this campaign players will play kobolds, one of the groups of the dungeon. No time to loose with humans and cities and travel and stuff, faction play and politics right now!

Have a good week! I WILL listen to your song smile

That snap at the start is such a cool way to start.

Love the synth pattern so busy and proggy.

This is nuts in a good way!

I wish it could have been longer.
