Alone in Vegas

By ntrval on January 5, 2014 11:59 pm

I composed this track for the most part last year on a business trip to Las Vegas. The title references my feelings after my then-girlfriend flew back to Texas and I stayed on for the rest of the business trip. The sample is from an old movie i found in archive.org called "Dishonored Woman".

I like the mood of the piece and the samples weren't overbearing at all.

Erie surreal .... interesting mood to it --

the ambiance reminds me of early skinny puppy tapes... a good thing!

@rdomain -thanks for listening!
@Aday -Thanks! smile
@starpause - carrying the torch my brother, R.i.P. DRG heart#~

The sample worked well in it.  I really like the sounds in it.

@PWR -Thanks for listening smile

this is really chill... I like this a lot.

@jjensen23 - Thanks for having a listen smile

Listening, by myself, in Las Vegas.

@Keister - that's how it was written, my friend smile

Nice atmosphere!

Great delays and panning.   That shaker thing in the middle is lush too.

@Pselodux - thanks!

@cTrix - thank you smile

Really like this ambiance!

Thanks! i really appreciate that, and totes jelly on the UAD plugins you have in your chain. i am still fine tuning my workflow, but i'll compose in FL Studio, mix in Reaper and "master" in Harrison Mixbus with perhaps some Izotope plugins (ozone and alloy).
