cheers again, mate! i feel like such a n00b still struggling to get the embedded gif right. i'm guessing it must be an actual image and not a redirect...prolly what i'm doing wrong.

I post so many gifs, I found it's easier to use an extension like Ian's Image Tools to copy the img tag and url all in one go.
