Hi everyone! Been a while (read: a year). I didn't think I was going to do WB again this year but, here we are, and I fumbled something together for week one at the last second. I really enjoyed looking back on my 2022 year recently with WB so let's see if I can do it again. That was the first year I did the whole dang thing O o O.

This is a little thing trying to get the m8 and KOII playing well together. They sync quite nicely but I'm not really sure how to make use of their strengths together yet. Here the KOII is basically just drums and, honestly, there are way better machines for something like this..

Wishing everyone a great start to your 24 WB!

He's BACK!  Heeeeyyyyyy.  You still the last person I've been on a roller coaster with.  Just saying.  I didn't think I was gonner be doing WB again either.  That bass is mega.... great combo with the KOii and M8.  Yeah, I'm not entirely sure how the combo would go.  It'd be amazing to have a send / return (which you kinda have if you record from USB and loop the audio around... but then the filters are no good).   This seems to work pretty well tho.  Are you triggering MIDI on the KOii from M8?   ANyhoo... seems to work pretty solid.

Aw hell yeah! What's good, Chris? Thanks for giving it a listen. Yeah there are so many things I wish I could figure out with KOII but it's still great fun to play around with. I added a video of the recording to the post but, generally, there's nothing special going on. I'm only sending start/stop from KOII to m8. Everything else is isolated. I may try playing around with triggering things from one to the other but don't see too much point since they are both pretty capable samplers with slightly different use cases.

welcome back!
You know why I love you? DOUBLE HANDCLAPS
Honestly though, love this trancy synthwave vibe a lot

yea this is very much a "HERE WE GOOOO" kinda track! love the lush reverb on the thin PWM synths! so many pretty arps and background details

Beautiful sounds out of the m8!

great vibe, looking forward to hearing more from you this year

So remember back in 2022 when you started tagging songs as "menucore"?  This is the BGM for that game.

B)

Great track. The swing was a nice touch. Helped keep that party vibe going.
