Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

This is my soundtrack to s short film Antara-bhava that I made last weekend for the RunwayML Gen:48 challenge. The piece was inspired by Pushkin's Garland No. 7 Reveille. You can watch the short film here:

This is beautiful. What's your process like?
Thank you! For the film, I generated all the stills first using Midjourney. Lots of prompting, re-rolls and remixes with some in/out-painting within MJ or in Photoshop. Did a rough edit with the stills and the reference music (Pushkin’s Reveille) and selected the stills that worked as per my edit requirements. Then ran those through the runwayml gen-3 image to video and again lots of prompt tests, re-rolls there. Tried different “takes” in my edit and then after auditioning them, chose the takes that worked better.
Then composed the final music using Ableton with Opus, Musio and Arturia’s Augmented Voices. The foley and sfx were samples from LANDR and Epidemic Sounds. Had to do some final edit tweaks based on the final music :-)
