Cook Up

By noggin on November 25, 2022 9:41 pm

This week I been cooking up cumbia (+ turkey + sweet potatoes + etc).
Mostly internal m8 wavsynth, but samples for the percussion.
Dirt + drive via some secret sauce (not so secret at time of publishing anymore though).
Passed the 2-year old test, kids dig it.

That chorus was a culinary experience.

Thank you! I never really messed with chorus but the one in the m8 is awesome for some reason

I'm w/ the 2-year-olds.

Also, kinda gives me like Orbital's "Tranquilizer" or "Mock Tudor" type vibes, except very American (as in the continent) and somehow also southern in spite of all the chip sounds. Not sure if that makes sense, but shrug.

I'll take that gladly!!!! Spacibo!

Smells great, love what you've put on the table. Very fresh beats.

That is some angry fried rice! Thank you!

your wavsynth sounds way cooler than my wavsynth. great work. really cool and simple groove. good reminder for me that it just takes a handful of the right samples in the right places to make a tasty groove like this. I love that fill too - I'm a sucker for snarling LFSR/pitched-noise.
