An ode to one of my favorite keyboard preset sounds. I had been hearing it in a bunch of 90s cumbia, started looking around, getting curious into the genesis of this (why do they all use the same sound?!), come to find out, a keyboard I had recently been gifted was absolutely LOADED with a bunch of these exact classic sounds.
Anyway, I tried to create a similar sound on the m8 - an exercise in trying to make some chip cumbia.
I was going to do an edit of this but nah, I'll just let the whole thing simmer. Play it at your next family bbq - it goes off at mine.
