Basement Muzak

Sort of an algorithmic let the thing play itself type vibe this week.
Using multiple tracks with the same instrument, and chance-based polyrhythms to bring out even weirder phasing in the melodic sequences.
The thing I like about this one is you can actually let it loop on the m8, and each time it comes around, it evolves into a different harmonic structure.
I didn't want to subject yall to 9 minutes of basement Walgreens though, so here is one pass.

Always appreciate yall taking the time to listen and comment.

I tried and failed with something like this many times. Love the filter pump groove. It gets really lovely in the middle

Oooh, great idea with the looping around for an alternative structure, really like this idea. Thinking it through doing different patterns w/ GRV hacks for vari-speed play through w/ a SONG command to force-sync the whole thing... Oh well, I'm in remix city (and failure gardens) for the foreseeable future... heart

really dig all the layers of percussion here, fun "miniature" variety of plinks and clanks that contrasts the roomy piano nicely.

I just let the machines do the talking sometimes.

Yea easy way to get polyrhythms or seemingly shifting rhythms. It really turns into a pretty different feeling track each time it loops through

Thanks. You know I totally forgot that a big part of this percussion was using some 'toy' samples uploaded to the elektron forum.
Thank yall!
