Probably time to wrap this series of songs up yeah?
I didn't have anything for this week. Just really busy, starting a queer dodgeball league which has been a dream of mine, but also still discombobulated by my personal life while also getting back into dating which takes up time. But I woke up early and said fuck it, I'll just try to accurately express what I'm feeling right now. I actually slept last night so that's good. Figured it was maybe time to say goodbye to this specific unexpected and unpleasant part of my life story, hence the idea of a denouement.

Now that the truth has been brought to the light
There’s now no need to fight cause we all know where we stand
Though my heart’s been dislodged from its home
It’s now free to roam and that’s painful at first but at least I am free
And now I can sleep without feeling so sick, without fear and dread
Cause the unknowns much worse when it bangs round the walls in my head
But all I had to understand is that you don’t love me anymore
And I feel lost without your hand cause flying turns to falling when you don’t know how to land
And no one else has ever let me be the little spoon
It feels too soon to lose this place where I’ve felt safe
And I’m afraid that I will have to re-affix my mask or I may never find a home again
