Life Around Summer Solstice

embix gave me the idea to run my track from last week through a gater and use it as a foundation for a trance track, so I did (almost) exactly that. I did not run the whole track through a gater, but just the main synth and built something completely new out of it. The result is a very relaxed summerish Trance track at 132 BPM.
While building, Logic drove me insane. Like last week I have seen the "System Overload" message more often than I can count - turns out that the Multisample Oscillator in Serum 2 completely strains my CPU. I only found this out hours into the track, so parts of creating if were a real challenge in patience 
I literally unloaded the synth patch, build the rest of the track and then for bouncing loaded the correct synth patch again 🙃 At least now I know the culprit 😅
