Persistance isn't Futile

By Nick_Jones on March 22, 2020 9:05 pm

So, this was the first week working at home and while things were working I was in my studio and watching the world kinda get weird.  So, again, I kinda wrote an episodic response or whatever.  Almost feels like an operatic overture to carrying on or something I think...I dunno.  I miss my friends and even people I haven't seen at work who are just acquaintances.  I do take a safe socially distanced walk everyday now and make sure to smile at people and nod...I guess this is kinda a musical version of that.

Very nice. I like the arp and the synth lead. The tubular bells were a bit of a surprise but they work.

There are some really cool rhythms happening in this song. It was certainly an adventure as well, lot of distinct sections that continuously introduce new elements. I particularly liked the last third of the song or so.

And here I am, introvert, not really changing anything in my life. Still though, the song feels very epic, especially when the bells hit.

This is ver very cool... I like the structure with all the changes and the tribal, oil drum-like beats in the first part especially. The major chord also in the end theme is great and takes one with surprise. Imaginative use of sounds... very nice combination of 4/4 beats and more leftfield ideas. Great stuff... I enjoyed this a lot smile
