Edit: Site was having teething issues, post-submission, and I wasn't able to update the description until now:

Off to a great start. Dusted off a WIP with 4 hours to go, and submitted 15 seconds before the deadline. Made on the Dirtywave M8. Mostly synthesis, with the exception of cymbals samples. Drum presets courtesy of the wonderful DW01 Synthdrums pack from Dirtywave. There's a lot I'm unhappy with, it feels quite slapdash for the latter 4/5ths, but certain bits and pieces make me feel proud. In particular, I like how "smooth" the intro feels.

Very nice! Great kick sound, and that sparse section near the end is an unexpected delight. Well done!

Thank you for listening. Sparse section was easier to crank out in the last hour than a less-sparse section neutral

Great kick sound

Pretty sure it's an extremely lightly modified preset from Trash80's DW01 Synthdrums pack.

ohh i love the way all the sounds pulsate! so much detail in the drum programming too. great work!

the lil panned synth pad that comes in at 1:21 is a nice treat!!

If by this you mean I sprayed a bunch of note triggers everywhere, then yes.

Those drums really do slap don't they, intro is especially fantastic

Oooohhhh this is interesting, I like it!!! The ratcheting and retriggering are super fun, too! Great job building those!

love it, congrats on week 1!

Nice! Had to put it on the big speakers to fully appreciate!

Yeah that intro is super smooth, and overall I think you should be really happy with how the piece transitions through each section. It sounds very coherent to me. Def one of my week 1 favs.
