Superlight Rays (Gimme a Ride)

Baby
If you want to
Take me home
Take me home

Lately
I've been lost
and all alone
all alone

Streetlights in my mind
Cars like time that's flyin by
By and by I hope that
you will think of me again some time

Shady where I roam
It's been ages since I
Passed your road I
Think I woulda known
If you loved me, you woulda shown
When I close my eyes
I got streetlights in my mind
Guessin' from reflections in your eyes
Superlight rays that leave me blind

Baby
If you want to
Take me home
Take me home

Lately
I've been lost
and all alone
all alone

Streetlights in my mind
Cars like time that's flyin by
By and by I hope that
you will think of me again some time

Gimme a ride
Gimme a ride
...

I like what you're doing with the vocals.

Hell yeah man, what a banger.  That opening synth line gets me all fired up.  What'd you do that vocal processing with?  Sort of sounds like vocoder but also doesnt.

Hehe.  Thanks for listening! I'm glad you dug them.

Hehe sweet thanks! The vocal is run through a little convolver, some VocalSynth 2 at 75% mix, and some reverb and a filter. Something like that. But I think the real heart of this track is that rhodes with my homemade leslie speaker effect
