Smearing The Effervescence

So...how about when you record a guitar part, but your amp mic is off and you "luckily" had a mic across the room (an overhead drum mic) engaged?
That's how I got the core/guide track for this song. It's certainly not pretty by itself, but I was hellbent on making it work.
Anyway...glad to be participating again after I dropped out in 2018.

this is good

the roomy guitar worked out very well (black metal, pls) the layers of buzzing synths and soft vocals sound fucking great. also that super, operatic theremin hidden in the back??

the distant guitar tone really does work. good movement, good "vibes". really nice overall!

Agree with the comments above. I like how you took the technical mistake and ran with it and made it part of the song. smile

The guitar sound actually does work. Wow, this is an interesting mix of indie rock and electronic music.

good emotion!

I'm a fan of not arming my tracks when I go to record.  Always gets me.

This is awesome.  Loving the amount of guitar based content so far this year

Nice to hear some guitar tracks and the distant mic worked a treat!

lol the distant mic sounds so intentional and effective

you: check out my great song
people: whatever
you: don't listen to this other song, i made a mistake
people: please accept your song of the year award

smile

It works out so well in the end.

Loads of cool sounds there. Distant guitar works very well to me.

I liked this track a lot.
