the color blue

I ran across this free-style poem I wrote a while back and it inspired me to trip back to a time
when there was someone who left a real mark but the stars had other plans. So now heres a cathartic (for me) tune.

"There was once a chance of going back. That fleeting possibility no longer exists.
She walks away into the bright of a crisp fall day. The Sun, in blinding mocking cheer
and the gentle breeze and one last glimpse of her scarf fluttering in the wind and this is
you alone in this crowded city and the impenetrable night gathers now at the corners of
alleys and shadows of buildings and behind your eyes in the pit of your mind"

This is great. Just an excellent mix. Really phenomenal. Has some Black Keys sensibilities to it.
Favorited.

Nice! That poem has a powerful arc to it. Those sky-high strings do a great job of turning the ear to the blue above.
