I gotta give credit to the m8, it's pretty much the only way I get time to participate in weeklybeats right now. Being able to pick it up and work on a song for a few minutes at a time randomly during the day - most often when I'm in the kitchen, waiting for something to come to a boil - really helps me grab every minute of spare time I can and actually finish some songs.

I'm also gonna credit the m8 as one of the most fun devices I've ever used to make some trancey-arps on, and it doesn't even have a proper "arpeggiator". Manually writing the arp in the phrase, then using note-advance and table-hops to create polyrhythmic octave jumps and accents within the table was a revelation.

Still acid, still a bit old school, leaning a wee bit towards trance this week with some healthy Jam & Spoon influence.
