Late and quick one this week, but super happy with it. Got some good bounce.
Borrowed a friend's cello a last week, and recorded a few minutes of me abusing it, and sliced it up, the applied the usual recipe. I think I'll be using that sample a LOT. Cello is fucking mad.

Oh dang, this sounds so cool! Awesome combo of the analog cello with the bass and glitchy sounds, this rules! Super up my alley. Not to mention it feels ripe for some rhymes on top of it. Almost feels like some old-school Boom-bap stuff at times! Great work!!!

The cello has indeed gone thoroughly crazy. Drums are nice too. Might have been cool with a tighter / crisper hat. Hearing it in my head with a flanger and filter automation on it. Heat.
This rules! Cello straight up gangsta. Reminds me a little of bits of Soul Coughing - they had an upright bass player - badass.
