"One day, babe, they're gonna make a landfill about us."

Finally I got to feature something like a solo in one of my beats. I've gotten into musical set theory and back into 4mat's 2010s-era albums on Bandcamp. So I've been in even more of a melody-forward, impressionistic mood than usual.

Speaking of mood, I definitely need to get back on my meds although sobering up is helping. I had the opportunity to panel on a podcast recently and couldn't even enjoy it subjectively because my hormones tanked in the last third. Holding onto positive memories is also helping but not in live social situations.

This song is inspired by the juxtaposition of vanilla and bleach, using limiter & grain-quantization in lieu of compression.

Process pic here.

This song pairs very well with Charlie Parker and I like where the journey ends up with the piano at the end. I also enjoyed the process picture.

Very cool track, adding to my trip playlist. tongue

Thanks for listening!

i like the "mixed fidelity" quality of this one. sounds like there's a vocal in there? the process pic is intriguing!
