Hi! You may not know me, but I'm back.
I started out with this two-bar loop (the progression for bars three & four was brought in as the bassline): "Sunset Night" Original piano loop.
Then, I isolated just those five upper chords and bent from one to the next. Chopped it up manually, quantized to the nearest 64th, then imported & resynthesized each chop in Synplant. Here is the dry audio from Synplant, in case you need it: "Sunset Night" piano.
After I got all 16 bars of that, I put these drums in there to discover the working pulse-schema. Which seemed like an appropriate stopping point to upload to WeeklyBeats. From here I will try to flip this composition into a hip hop beat.
