FERAL - "Existing in a natural state"

missed last weeks submission because I was existing in a natural state spending time with my son, and forgot to hit the submit button.  So many distractions constantly pulling for my attention, my son is never one of them.

I haven't caught up on listening this week (or last).

Sometimes we need to be FERAL, existing in our natural state is challenged only by those that wish you domesticated. I resist!

As usual a combination of software (NI Playbox, Massive X), hardware: M8 (lead, drums), Novation PEAK, Typhon, Modular. Was trying out the NI Playbox (interesting concept, may revisit in the future)

Mixed and sequenced on the M8, converted to mp3 in audacity.

Thanks to all those that listen.

Supercool beat and nice samples integrated. well done

1. Love the tune. I started writing up about the bass and that music box groove and how memorable it was and the beat and realized I just been jamming this for a while 'cuz it's lovely.

2. Site mods on Discord can provide late-submission links, just an FYI -- I've uploaded a wrong mix down before and was able to correct it after hours.

3. I also got Playbox and used it on a couple of WB (we seem to like the same sounds, too!) -- what do you think?

stay FERAL!

the brassy bass sounds have a great pressured feel to them, like they're trying to hold back

good contrast among the sounds, the high-end shimmery percussion/foley, dynamic but precise bassline, brassy wide stabs

This came up and it’s still banging bonkers, the opening / closing waltz-like is bonkers good.
