DOORWAY

By mzunguko on July 10, 2022 8:52 pm

Such crazy times, I don't even know what is real anymore. Everything vying for your attention to give things life. Standing tall and walking through the doorway yet to be revealed is where I maintain my focus. I so hope this leads to a place where all life can be cherished this place has been corrupted by those that stand against life.

nicely done. not quite my cup of tea aesthetically, but very well-executed! +1

really nice and thick, great tune.

Sollid. Direct. Straight shooter

Remarkable low end, really excellent production all around.

How are those filtered strings made? Really like the reverse whopwhop also.

Great great vibe!

Always find new ideas from your tracks, the sub bass on this weeks track is right in my sweet spot.

Grinning from ear to ear week to week.

These were a couple of patches from the PEAK, one was a factory patch bank A 021, and the other was one I created using a couple of de-tuned saws on OSC 1 and 2, and some PWM on OSC 3. LFO's providing sublte filter and vibrato movement and some reverb, delay and chorus to sweeten it up. I live tracked the midi in my Squarp (just out of habit) and recorded this into the blackbox to mix and arrange in the m8. I haven't done any sample recording into the m8 simply because I prefer the blackbox from a workflow perspective (its always available and can route any audio to it)

Thanks so much, loved the bass line from your track this week.

I will make a better effort responding to comments, I do really appreciate yours and all your music is such an inspiration to me.

The bass sounds awesome in this track.  That pulsing vibrating edgy feeling is pure ear candy for the brain.  The drums support it nicely with those quick DnB-esque snare/hats.  Well done!

This pulled me in. Amazing bass, the string lead is my fave, stimulating. Conjures new places I want want to explore, a sense of mystery!

Forgot to say, I love your description to this. Just looked up In Lak’ech Ala K’in - awesome, inspiring.

It's so good, feels dystopian, it's all put together so well

A feeling requires focus, and is self realized. Brightness.
