CORNERED

Option 3 initiated. After two failed attempts at bringing something together I finally settled on my MPC. Threw in some drum one-shots from E-A-SKI, chopped up a sample and put this together rather quickly. My intent was to dust of the cobwebs off my M8, but installing the latest version and going through the new features took more time than I wished. Despite my best efforts at coming up with something, two separate M8 tracks are still on the operating table. I ended up going back to my MPC. Feeling backed into a corner, I went to the warm blanket that my MPC has become. I just exported the stems from the MPC and threw them into Ableton for final 2Bus mixdown.

Thanks to everyone that has had a listen and your comments are fuel, so many good tracks and styles to draw inspiration from, truly love me some WB.

Hope all is well.

Sometimes leaning on the tried and true is the way to go.  This feels like it has happy vibes to it to me.  Kind of like wrapping yourself up on that comfy warm blanket you mentioned.

This came up on my morning drive in the rain. Warm stylish vibes put to a beat with so much swag. The mood change at 1:40-end was great.

Instant hooks from the first snare to that bell/string melody.  Sounds great as an instrumental but I was getting some 'people under the stairs' and/or del vibes.  Love that warm sound throughout.  Well done!

Unique sounds and arrangement, but still a real head nodder. Immediately replayed once it was over!

Great!  sounds and feels like it was made on MPC in the best way. I read another comment that someone was listening to it while driving in the rain, sounds like the perfect situation for this track.

some nice solid boom bap

absolute BANGER, the orchestral strings are so unexpected

Very chill! You may feel cornered but that track is moving free, going places
