The Cave of Pianos

By mysterioso on September 25, 2016 3:58 pm

This week's piece is a collaborative work with my exploratory group A.R.C.; drums, home-made electronics, euro-rack synths, C-Sound, electric bass and double bass.  We performed this on the evening of Wednesday 21st September.

A.R.C. features Saul Rayson, Barry Cullen and me.

Great use of the bass and great ambiance.

Much cave, no pianos...

Very nice! Great ambiance indeed

Excellent, lots of sounds to keep you wondering "what's that?"

Deeply concentrated creative experimental music. Love this kind of live ambient recordings. 100% my taste.

Very cool. Lots of really great timbres. Brilliant stuff.

An epic exploration with some fantastic sounds.  Definitely cave-like.  A fascinating plummet into the depths.

Very compelling--particularly the hard bowing to play harmonics.

Nice one dude!

Love the double bass and the super ambient pad drones used.  There's def a cool atmosphere created with the variety of sounds.  Nice job!

Lovely pace and excellent use of ambience.  Very enjoyable!  Would be great to see live too.
