It's Week 17!
I decided to be *unhinged* for this one 
This submission is a blend of two separate ideas I had going - The first half was thrown together entirely in Ableton and the second half is primarily a mix of Syntakt and M8 (with a bit of Intellijel Cascadia sample fodder mixed in throughout). Split is roughly 50/50 between mangled samples from Splice and a mix of hardware and VST synths.
Mix is not my best work... but I hope it's good enough :')

. It's is so wild and lucid. Those drops in the first half are expansive. There's a sense of a massive amount of energy trying to break out/spilling out in the sections where the beat stops and synths lurch forward. I thought of the words "sacred and profane" as I was listening
