SEASIDE

This week was a very indecisive one for me! It all started with two different ideas thrown together on the M8. Threw them both into Ableton and fleshed each out a bit more with some additional synth and percussive parts. Then a rogue idea flew across the sky like a meteor and told me the track needed some granular..., so I open up Granulator III and got to work. Ten or so bounces later... transfer all of it back onto the M8, chop it all up, and rearrange it. Then... another rogue idea (perhaps I should chop each of the two tracks together?), so I render both on the M8 (again), transfer both to Ableton (again), and proceed to chop and stitch together what you're listening to now smile Hope y'all enjoy!

This is such an interesting and funky track! The vocal chops remind me so much of Arca, and the drums are so chill. Great job on this one!

The wild back and forth between synths, ableton, cutting and remixing really paid off. This sounds super cool, ethereal and unique! Really nice work here, srsly!

Love love love this start, little vocal samples and noise is so nice. Love the squashing it to kick off the rhythm. Chopped up all over the place is really cool, oh and then this bass thing is here now and it means business. Now we're into synthwave. It's the future and everything is going fine. This snare might kill me it's so tough. I want my mummy. Love the repetition and samples and start/stop of everything.

This is a great track!

I watched Fifth Element yesterday so the stuttery chimpmunk vocals are giving off Diva vibes. smile
