occulta cultro

By mwmwmw on July 12, 2024 5:05 am

i joke around all the time about using a switchblade for just about everything to the point now when i say anything, like "you know what this needs" they'll immediately say "A SWITCHBLADE!"

unfortunately, switchblades are illegal in canada (unless you're a cat) so i will have to continue living in a world where i cannot open my mail and butter my toast in the same ridiculously cool fashion.

so occulta cultro just means hidden knife, or razor.

the hidden part is DEFINITELY the sub bass, so you're going to want a sub hooked up to get the most out of this track, especially in the second half where i've added a lot of detail to the sub.

You'd think if the bass was the hidden weapon, it'd be more of a hidden sledgehammer. Fortunately there's plenty of high pitched noises that cut like a hidden switchblade.

is that a sledgehammer in your pocket spider?

You know, she just might carry one and you'd never truly know.

a true sledgehammer shinobi

Yes, switchblades are cool.  Like the mix of sounds and the little 8 bit fx stabs, reminded me of the early days of dubstep, like “Milanese”
